REATTU MUSEUM

The rich museum collections are housed in a remarkable building, the former Grand Priory of the Knights of Malta, and have evolved from the donation of worked by the neo-classical painter Jacques Réattu in the 19th century.
collection in a photography was charmed by the museum and in 1971 donated 57 drawings, thus creating one of the first public collections dedicated to this artist. In 1965 the first Pablo Picasso French Fine Arts Museum was created, underlining the innovative character of museum’s orientations.
The building has 3 floors and a lot of stairs that could make difficult the visit for disabled people.
The museum is closed on mondays and on November 1st, December 25th, January 1st and May 1st.
